Knafah syrup is the simplest thing you’ll ever make!
Boil together 2 cups water with 2 cups sugar till slightly thick, then add 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice. Done! You’ll want to POUR this syrup over your knafah, and you can get creative & add crushed pistachios, or toasted pine nuts on top of the knafah.
