عكة الحلبة|Helba cake : perfect for the Vegan 12/01/2011

كعكة الحلبة|Helba cake
Ingredients :
3 cups semolina
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon yeast
1/4 cup ground anise
1/4 cup black seed (Nigella Sativa)
1/2 cup ground circuit
1 cup Mazola oil
1 cup olive oil
1 cup lukewarm water
4 cups suger and 1 cup water
Method:
First you prepare the syrup, add 1 cup water to a medium saucepan to bring it a boil .
then add 4 cups sugar until it dissolves and leave it for ten minutes or more .
mix all the ingredients together and then put them in a greased oven tray with a little oil ,take a knife and make lines as it showed in the photo below.
leave it for hour and a half in order to ferment, you bake it from the bottom and then from the top. Remove cake from oven and pour syrup over cake
